Christmas cards are in the mail - now I can share!

My Christmas cards are finally in the mail so I think it's safe to share them all with you.  I had a great time making cards this year, but I found myself running out of time. I always say I'm going to start early, but that never seems to happen.  This year I've been travelling a lot of work and so I wasn't sure I was going to get them finished on time.

I made 5 different cards this year trying out new techniques.  There were so many great stampsets and embellishments to choose from, I couldn't make just one card!

Stamp set - Snow Much Fun
Embossing Folder - Petals-a-Plenty
For this card I embossed the whisper white card stock with card board template frame on the embossing folder .  This embosses a frame and leaves the centre of the card to be stamped on!

As soon as I saw this Bigz L die at the Stampin Up Convention I knew that I had to make cards for some very special ladies with this.  I belong to Beta Sigma Phi and the ladies in my chapter are amazing people - every year I make special cards for them and hand deliver them at our Christmas party.  I know they are going to love these cards - again embossed with Petals-a-Plenty and embellished with the Red Glimmer paper and mini Jingle bells.

A twisted easel card made using the Contempo Christmas stamp set.  I used the ornament punch and the Shaker frames to make this card a shaker card using Champagne Glass Glitter.

A quick and easy card using the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set with Real Red and Basic Black ink.  The two red ornaments are popped up with Stampin Dimensionals and embellished with rhinestones.

This card was inspired by a card in Stampin Success - a monthly magazine published for Stampin Up Demonstrators.  I used the 25 & Counting stamp set and coloured with my markers onto the stamps so that I didn't include the numbers.  I love how this card turned out.

Now that my Christmas cards are finished I'm really looking forward to making some cards for Valentines Day and also some Birthday Cards.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a happy and successful 2012.
